Dealing with Pain in the Arch of the Foot

Foot pain from arch pain explained
Arch area foot pain is felt along the arch of the foot and is usually caused by strain resulting from another problem.

Causes of arch pain
Overuse, poor-fitting shoes that lack support, plantar fasciitis and even just imbalances in the way a person’s foot is built (like a pronated foot) can cause arch pain.

Foot pain relief from arch pain
When it first happens, ice it, and later move to heat. Reduce the amount of time that you spend on your feet. And invest in supportive footwear that will support the arch.

Old Friend Footwear customers claim relief from foot pain:

"All my foot problems once included fallen arches, tender heels with heel spurs, painful metatarsal arches, a tight sinew running the length of the bottom of my foot, and a little toe bending in above an inflamed bone. I had prescription arch supports, which helped somewhat, but I still went to a podiatrist every 2 to 3 months…. I have had your sandals over one year and never needed to return to a podiatrist. In fact, with the sandals and a few exercises I HAVE ABSOLUTELY NO FOOT PROBLEMS AT ALL.....NONE!!! Unbelievable!! I have worn them constantly for one year, on the street, at home, as slippers, even in the shower. I couldn't be without them even for a little while.”
