Old Friend Footwear gives back to the community

Our footwear is friendly to your feet, with arch support slippers, lightweight ergonomic shoes, and sandals with massage that offer reflexology while soothing sore feet. But our concern for others extends to the community too.

Early on, Old Friend Footwear founder Jim Klavano decided to donate to causes that inspired him. This he has done by giving a percentage of profits from the sale of the company's top selling foam shoes, NothinZ, to Alex's Lemonade Stand to help raise money for pediatric cancer research.

Old Friend Footwear also regularly donates its products to people in need. In the winter of 2006, for example, Jim personally traveled to South Dakota with 6,000 pairs of Old Friend sheepskin hi-lo boots to warm the hearts and the feet of the children of the Sioux Indian Nation.
