Massage sandals from Old Friend replace Maseur sandals

Old Friend Footwear used to import Maseur massage sandals from Australia. But after 20 years in the U.S. market, the Maseur brand was purchased by a large corporation and the quality began to lag to the point that after 20 years as the importers, we called it quits. That’s when we started designing and manufacturing our own sandals with massage.

Taking our 20 years of experience in the massage sandal footwear business, we created a massage sandal that was the sum total of everything we believed it should be. We spent the three years developing a massage sandal that is superior to the Maseur in every way. Improvements we have made to these sore feet massage sandals include:

• Widened the massage sandal
• Improved the quality of the nodules that do the reflexology
• Used three separate pieces:
1. A natural latex blend softer nodule
2. An EVA midsole that breaks down to form to your foot, providing a softer heel strike area
3. A thin rubber sole to maintain traction and prevent the massage sandal from curling up

Over thirty-five years ago Gabriel Ebber first made the Maseur massage sandal in the Greek section of Sydney, Australia. If Gabby were still alive, we think he would look at our Old Friend massage sandals as a big improvement on his creation.
