Old Friend Footwear develops a shock reduction insole: Removable sheepskin insole conforms to foot for even more comfort
Kent, WA – August 21, 2008 – Old Friend Footwear announces a new removable insole with memory foam and arch support. Old Friend launched the first of its kind sheepskin insole at the WSA Show in Las Vegas. No other company has combined the ease of a removable insole with a built-in arch. Plus, the insole is washable. To create the insole, Old Friend used a thick, rebounding neoprene in combination with memory foam, to ease shock in the heel and the ball of the foot. A middle layer of foam (with extra at the heel) and an auto-conforming memory arch combine with sheepskin to provide comfort like never before in a slipper. The new insole offers:
- Rebounding heel and metatarsal pads
- Upward compression, auto contour arch
- Accommodates orthotics
- Fully removable and washable sheepskin insoles
- Several layers of padding
- Thick neoprene to cushion the ball of your foot and your heel as you walk
